Volunteer for Bear aware!
We actively seek out and train volunteers to deliver the Bear Aware message. Our program includes a volunteer policy, orientation information, a handbook, and ongoing training.
Volunteer efforts correlate directly to the success of the program.
Please contact Rossland Bear Aware for information on how you can help, even if just once in a while.
Volunteers are needed to help:
* Staff information display at community events
* Tag garbage left on the curb
* Be a Dumpster Deputy
* Pick fruit in the fall
* Rossland-Trail Bear Smart Committee members
* Bylaw Advisory Committee
